Interested in stockpiling fall / winter garden seeds for SHTF? Then look no further than green seeds- turnips, mustard greens, onions, radishes, spinach.... etc. Those seeds are very small so they take up just a little bit of space, and in most cases the whole plant can be eaten. Unlike crops such as corn, okra and tomatoes where you have to wait for the crop to be ready to harvest, greens can be picked at just about any time in its lifespan. Rather than pulling up the whole plant, just snip leaves off random plants and the plant will not die. Harvesting leaves here and there ensures a steady supply of greens for several weeks, if not months.
