Garden Salsa Peppers

Decided to give some garden salsa peppers a try. The local walmart has their plants marked down, so why not? I bought two garden salsa pepper plants for $2.94 each.

For fertilizer I am using aged chicken manure from under the brooder house mixed with dirt. Also, under the plant is a fresh chicken yard egg. Using eggs as fertilizer is a little experiment I am doing this year.

I will keep this thread updated on how the peppers are doing. It will be interesting to see how these turn out.

2 things..
1) how did the eggs under the plant work?
2) how do the salsa peppers taste in comparison to a jalapeno or a wax pepper?
